This engine was taken out of a 1950 Ford pickup truck and is mounted in a homemade engine stand. New spark plugs, points and rotor were installed and the carburetor cleaned and rebuilt as well as an oil change and new oil filter. It runs with no smoking and has a small front seal oil leak. Some new gaskets and parts are included.
A delivery to the Fall Moultrie Swap Meet is possible or pickup at my shop, which is located in the very SE corner of Alabama, about 15 miles SE of Dothan, AL and 25 miles north of I-10. A $500 deposit is required at auction's end and the balance within 7 days

New Ford Mustang for Europe gets 500 orders in first 30 seconds

The new Ford Mustang (pictured) was much in demand. The new Ford Mustang effectively went on sale in Europe at the UEFA Champions League final at the weekend, and it was an overwhelming success for Ford. Not only did Ford get the first 500 registrations – enough for the entire initial European offering – in the first 30 seconds,  it ended up with a total of 9,300 registrations during the match, and Ford say the lucky 500 ‘winners’ – 130 of them in the UK – will be notified in the next few weeks if they’re getting a new Mustang.

I think we all knew it was happening, but Glass’s guide, the trade bible for used car values, has confirmed that luxury cars in the UK have fallen out of bed in a big way. Comparing luxury diesel saloons with a year ago, they say that average values have dropped by a massive 21%. And in pure money terms the top end coupes, such as the Porsche 911, have fallen by 18%.
