You are bidding on a set of four (4) hub caps from a 1950's Dodge; these are "Lancer" style hub caps.  They are 15" caps; the ink-stamped part number is #1940821.  They are all used; three are in good condition; one is fair, it has more dings, missing paint and the retaining teeth need to re-shaped.   The three best have some minor scratches and dings; the die-cast chrome centers have some pitting, but overall, these caps look good and they are very shiny.  Also included are two additional chrome centers, as shown.  Again, they are not perfect but good hot rod quality; they are more than 50 years old, not modern reproductions.  This is a great item for your vintage hot rod restoration project.  Shipping is FREE for USA only.

Enzo Ferrari died 25 years ago today

Wed, 14 Aug 2013

The word “Ferrari” is evocative enough as it is, but add “Enzo-era” to the mix and we imagine a very specific type of machine -- a vehicle that is raw, passionate, perhaps a bit prickly, but above all, utterly unique and irreplaceable. There's a reason Enzo-era Ferraris are magical: Enzo Ferrari himself. Born in 1898, Ferrari joined the Alfa Romeo racing team in 1920, established Scuderia Ferrari in 1929 and put his name on a V12-powered race car in 1947.
