A nice Ford door mount mirror and mounting bracket in good original condition from the 50s and 60s. I think this is for a pickup truck but I'm not for sure, 61, 62, 63, 64. The chrome is nice for its age, has a little pitting on the bracket but it all shines very nice. The mirror reflection is good and shows minor imperfections. The head measures 4 inches across. I see a few minor dings to the back of the head and one about 1/4 inch crease but still displays well and is not very noticeable. The pivot is tight and hold well, the arm has a cool bullet shaped theme, art deco looking. Ask questions and check out my other listings please, thanks.

Vogon poetry: Mercedes-Benz shows off S63 AMG Coupe

Wed, 28 May 2014

Depending on your taste for the "crown of literature," the above video is either barbaric hokum or sublime wordplay -- image-laden poetry, in AABB rhyming scheme, appealing to car enthusiasts making full use of their expensive English majors. "Darkness has a companion tonight," reads the passably Vincent Price-ish voice of a poem written exclusively for AMG by a "Betty Stewart," over sounds of the Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupe roaring mellifluously across abandoned runways and through the world's largest parking garage. "Small creatures prick ears and tremble with fright.

The Range Rover Hybrid (pictured) in Russia on the Silk Trail expedition The new Range Rover Hybrid (and the Range Rover Sport Hybrid) will be arriving in Land Rover Showrooms in the New Year after their debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show last week. Currently, ahead of the final production hybrids being signed-off, Land Rover are, as we’ve already reported, busy driving the Silk Trail to Mumbai to put the Range Rover Hybrids through their paces and iron out any problems that crop up. The first stage of the Silk Trail 2013 trek was mainly across Europe where, although urban landscapes tested the hybrid’s economy and flexibility, there wasn’t too much in the way of challenging terrain to make sure the hybrid Range Rover was up to muster.

Land Rover Freelander 2 Sport (2010) launched

Wed, 16 Dec 2009

The 2010 Land Rover Freelander 2 Sport launches in January The latest Freelander is a very good car. A million miles away from the first Freelander it is well built, comfortable, roomy and does a very good imitation of a decent estate car on road, but still has the ability to cope with the rough stuff much more convincingly than the vast majority of the competition. But moving metal is about offering the buyer something extra.
