Up for auction is a pair of ash trays for the Ford cars. I know they fit between 1951-1955, but cannot remember what year or specific model. (If you know please send me an email and let me know.) They are not rusted through, they have surface rust and pitting on the inside and back, but other than that, they are in decent condition, I found an old milky way wrapper, peanut shells, and a bottle cap in one of them. Good combination! If you have any questions, please ask, I will be happy to answer!

The photo at the top is of the 2003 Toyota Fine-S Concept which was developed to test the fledgeling hydrogen fuel cell setup, and Toyota were running fuel cell cars in Japan and California at this time too, although not, as far as we know, the Fine S.

Worst car advert clichés named

Fri, 22 Aug 2014

CAR BUYERS are being turned off by clichéd adverts and the phrase ‘one careful lady owner’ has been named top of the flops in a recent survey. Second in the list of least liked phrases is ‘baby forces sale’, while third goes to ‘genuine reason for sale’. Other key phrases used by car sellers that can actually turn away possible buyers include ‘first to see will buy’, ‘mint condition’ and ‘priced to sell’.
