Cadillac, for example, is looking to take this one step further with the introduction of LEDs throughout the XTS, rather than just within its light clusters. Designed to greet drivers through a choreographed sequence, 20 separate light sources begin their routine once the key fob is pressed.

Porsche names new motorsports chief for North America

Jens Walther has been named president and CEO of Porsche Motorsport North America, the automaker said Friday. Walther, 41, will take over for Paul Ritchie, who has retired. Walther managed Porsche’s One-Make Cup program before his appointment.
