Stainless Steel Led Tail Lights (2) 12 Volt 45 Red Leds with Red Lenses Stainless Steel Housings and Bezels Here is a your chance to update your stop/tail lights with the new led technology. It just couldn't get any easier! They are for 12 Volt Systems. All 45 red led's light up for tail and all get brighter for stop/turn. The left side has 6 white led's for the license plate light. They use epoxy coated, fully sealed electronics on solid state circuit boards. The led's are instant on and off. Almost unnatural! They are so fast NHRA had to re-calculate the Christmas Tree when they converted. Low current so they run cool. Tremendous life span. The listing is for both sides. College for Creative Studies Student Exhibition 2006
Wed, 25 Oct 2006Senior transportation design students at Detroit's College for Creative Studies presented their work to the public and industry representatives during the school's annual Student Exhibition earlier this year. The major project brief revolved around the notion of an 'Exquisite Chrysler.' Students had to identify six vehicles from the past that represented a combination of great beauty and good design, regardless of brand. In addition, six examples of great design outside of the automotive realm were to be chosen as possible influences.

Smart wins 2011 LA Design Challenge
Mon, 28 Nov 2011Daimler's Smart division won this year's LA Design Challenge, the brief of which was to create ‘Hollywood's Hottest New Movie Car'. The entries were judged on how well the vehicle reflected its brand attributes relative to the plot, how the vehicle related to the target audience, and the level of imagination found within the entry. Befitting the ‘Hollywood movie car' theme, the uniqueness of the story concept and the character development of the vehicle were also factors that helped determine the overall winner.
