JAC Vision IV concept (w/ Gallery)
Fri, 30 Apr 2010JAC revealed this four-door Vision IV concept at the Beijing Motor Show. Designed by JAC's Turin-based design team, the concept showcases both a hybrid powertrain and a new A-segment chassis that houses a lithium ion battery in the center tunnel. The styling is meant to convey both a sense of 'natural electricity' and the fluid, natural strokes of Chinese calligraphy. First Sight: Skoda Octavia

Car Design News was in attendance to check out the third generation of what the company calls ‘the heart of Skoda'. The new Octavia is the fourth model in the Volkswagen Group to be built on the new MQB (Modularer Querbaukasten) platform.

And one Ferrari client has spent a repute £2.5 million to create a one-off F12 – the Ferrari F12 TRS – twice the price of LaFerrari. Still obviously a Ferrari F12, the F12 TRS gets a pretty dramatic makeover, inspired by the 1967 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, from Ferrari Special Projects, design chief Flavio Manzoni and the Ferrari Style Centre.
