1951 Chevrolet/gmc 235 Ci Complete Running Engine 1952 1953 1954 1955 on 2040-parts.com
Minnesota, United States
This listing is for a running 235 cubic inch Chevrolet/GMC engine with the pressurized oil system. These were used on Chevy cars and trucks from 1951 up but will also fit the older models.
As you can see in the pictures, the engine was left dirty so you can see there are no leaks. This engine was removed from a running/driving truck with 45,000 miles on the odometer. We have no idea what the compression is but can tell you it wasn't smoking when it ran. Fuel pump and carburetor are good but could use a cleaning. Water pump did not leak. We are liquidators. We sell everything "as-is" with no returns. In all cases, what you see is what you get. PLEASE ask questions before buying or bidding by email or call/text 320-413-0129. All sales are final. Local pickup only. If you can't pick up right away its no problem. We can put it on a pallet for your to pick up or ship. |

Bentley SUV (Falcon) to be built in Slovakia?
Wed, 20 Mar 2013Bentley says it has 2000 pre-orders for the Bentley Falcon SUV and that it is possible the Bentley won’t be built in Crewe but in Bratislava. January’s news was that the Bentley SUV was close to being signed-off for production (we’ve heard that once or twice) and in February we learnt that Bentley have gone back to the drawing board to produce a new design under the watchful eye of Luc Donckerwolke, Bentley’s Chief Designer, which we expect to be a more dynamic one with cues from the Continental, rather than a square truck with Mulsanne headlights. So now it’s time for the March instalment of ‘Bentley SUV News‘, and we have Bentley boss Wolfgang Schreiber telling us that Bentley already has 2,000 pre-orders for their SUV (we’re guessing ‘expressions of interest’ may be closer to the truth) before the new design is shown, and before Bentley has decided whether they want to pitch their SUV just above the new Range Rover at around £150k, or do what Bentley dealers want which is a Bentley SUV costing north of £200k.
Vauxhall Ampera Price revealed
Tue, 14 Dec 2010The Vauxhall Ampera costs £28,995 - even after the taxpayer chips in £5k Sensibly, Vauxhall has chosen to reveal the price of the range-extender Vauxhall Ampera on the day it was included on the list of cars eligible for the £5,000 taxpayer subsidy for plug-in cars. Vauxhall will be getting £33,995 for every Ampera they shift, although the buyer will pay £28,995 thanks to the taxpayer subsidy. Which, whether you pick the subsidised price or the actual price, is an awful lot of money.
Citroen Revolte surfaces
Thu, 10 Sep 2009The Citroen Revolte Concept - the new 2CV? It’s looking increasingly likely that this new Citroen will revive the 2CV moniker. But that referred to ‘Two Steam Horses’, so unless this is one very eco car powered by a rubber band and a clockwork mechanism I guess the name will be there for nostalgic reasons rather than denoting anything specific.
