Here is a set of four brand new "F" hub caps for your favorite ride. The digital camera can't show how nice the polished surface is. Stainless steel so no worries there. They are about 10 5/8" outside diameter and 10 1/8" id at the back. Add some class to your car hauler? Can you picture these and a set of trim rings (I sell them too!) on red wheels? I can. I think these are nicer than the originals. They are Ford Motor Company authorized reproductions. Sorry about the camera reflections. I couldn't figure out how to sneak up on them without being seen! Electric cars to be powered by AA-style batteries

A NEW COMPANY is claiming its new design of battery could see future electric cars powered by batteries no bigger than the current AA size. LipraLoof Techologies Ltd, a new start-up, has teamed up with City Car Club to trial the new technology in its fleet of vehicles. The new batteries use a complex mix of metal hydrates to create a quad, or 4A battery, which produces far more power than a standard battery.

Mazda will be displaying the latest variant of the Biante minivan series at the 42nd Tokyo motor show. Called the Granz, the vehivle a specially designed ‘high-roof' version of the mid-sized MPV – measuring in at just over 1800mm in height. Visually, the Granz takes stylistic influence from the Kodo design language – in particular, the ‘signature wing' on the front fascia.

The report of this ‘Breaking News’ cites a company report by Tata which indicates a joint engine development programme is being considered.
