Stainless Steel Hub Caps (4) Here is a set of four brand new "F" hub caps for your favorite ride. The digital camera can't show how nice the polished surface is. Stainless steel so no worries there. They are about 10 5/8" outside diameter and 10 1/8" id at the back. Add some class to your car hauler? Can you picture these and a set of trim rings (I sell them too!) on red wheels? I can. I think these are nicer than the originals. They are Ford Motor Company authorized reproductions. Sorry about the camera reflections. I couldn't figure out how to sneak up on them without being seen! 2013 Ford Escape can tow 3,500 pounds with EcoBoost engine
Wed, 14 Mar 2012The 2013 Ford Escape, which we saw at the Detroit auto show in January, will have a towing capacity of 3,500 pounds when equipped with the 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine, Ford said on Wednesday. That number easily bests four-cylinder-equipped competitors such as the Volkswagen Tiguan, the Kia Sportage and the Acura RDX. Ford says the new engine will make enough power to pull two jet skis down to the lake with a trailer, or to drag a snowmobile to the frozen tundra.
Porsche Cayenne based Eterniti Artemis production debut
Fri, 09 Nov 2012The Eterniti Artemis – a titivated Porsche Cayenne – is shown in almost production-ready guise before a debut in Asia in 2013. But despite plenty of negatives about the Eterniti Artemis – not least of which are how it looks and how much it costs – Eterniti seem sure they have a market – certainly in Asia – and they’re now showing us what is pretty much the production-ready version of the Artemis (above). Power comes from the same V8 Turbo the Cayenne Turbo gets, but Eterniti have tweaked it to deliver 600bhp and 750Nm of torque, despite which it’s no quicker than the £107k Porsche Cayenne Turbo S.
VW Beetle Final Edition (2010) at LA
Thu, 03 Dec 2009The 2010 VW Final Edition revealed at the LA Amotor Show There is really only one place that holds a torch for the Volkswagen Beetle, and that’s the USA. So it’s entirely appropriate the VW chose the LA Motor Show to launch what will be the last version of the Beetle before an all new Beetle arrives in 2012. The Final Edition Beetle marks eleven years of almost unchanged production for a less than convincing recreation of a motoring icon.
