Condition:Used

1951 Ford F1 Truck Steering Gearbox complete except for the steering shaft.

Fits 1948~1952 Ford F1 Truck.

No Reserve.

It will at least need new gaskets and seals. If you use the worm gear, it will have to be pressed off the 3/4” smooth round stub shaft and pressed on to a new steering shaft. The cast iron housing has no cracks that I can see. New shafts are available in after-market parts catalogs. There was some play in the steering wheel when I removed this gear box. These are getting very scarce.

I removed this steering gearbox from my running 1951 Ford F1 Truck.

Will supply winning bidder with information of a place that rebuilds 1948 to 1952 Ford F1 steering gearboxes if requests.

Kia Soul (2008) : first pictures

Thu, 22 May 2008

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 22 May 2008 11:55 Kia’s Soul is here, and looks nearly identical to the trio of concept cars that appeared in Geneva earlier in 2008. The faux-4x4 will be launched at the Paris Motor Show later this year, before going on sale in the UK in March 2009. Underpinning the Soul is an all-new platform but it will lift engines and transmissions from the Ceed hatch, led by 1.6 petrol and diesel engines.

Hyundai enlists Flaming Lips for Super Bowl ad

Fri, 01 Feb 2013

We previewed a couple of Hyundai's Super Bowl spots -- focused largely on speed and power -- earlier in the week. The Sonata ad was a trifle of pedestrian whimsy, while the Genesis sedan R-Spec spot grated, grated and grated some more. Now, with the kickoff looming, the Korean automaker's loosed its marquee ad, promoting the 2013 Santa Fe, upon the YouTubifying unwashed.

Rolls Royce EX200 (RR4) about to surface

Tue, 10 Feb 2009

There’s been a whole heap of shots of the new baby Rolls, the RR4 as it’s known internally, and we featured some last month. To add to the mix, we’ve also grabbed an interior shot of the new Rolls, which we reckon will be known as the Rolls Royce Ghost or the Rolls Royce Silver Ghost. But news has now arrived that Rolls Royce is actually planning on revealing the EX200 concept car at Geneva, which is pretty much what the new Rolls will be.
