1951 Ford F1 Truck Steering Gearbox on 2040-parts.com
Atascadero, California, United States
1951 Ford F1 Truck Steering Gearbox complete except for the steering shaft. Fits 1948~1952 Ford F1 Truck. No Reserve. It will at least need new gaskets and seals. If you use the worm gear, it will have to be pressed off the 3/4” smooth round stub shaft and pressed on to a new steering shaft. The cast iron housing has no cracks that I can see. New shafts are available in after-market parts catalogs. There was some play in the steering wheel when I removed this gear box. These are getting very scarce. I removed this steering gearbox from my running 1951 Ford F1 Truck. Will supply winning bidder with information of a place that rebuilds 1948 to 1952 Ford F1 steering gearboxes if requests. |

Thu, 25 Oct 2007By Guy Bird First Official Pictures 25 October 2007 04:02 Surely the best concept name of the show? Possibly. Although it sounds like an early 80s rap MC with dirty habits, this concept is actually designed to showcase a possible all-terrain vehicle able to transport keen mountain bikers to extreme locations – as well as providing shelter to fix their rides under its twin gull-wing doors with built-in LED lamps.
