Microsoft Windows in the Car to rival Apple CarPlay

Although details are limited at this stage, 'Windows in the Car' is set to challenge the already confirmed Apple CarPlay and Google’s Open Automotive Alliance, which is also aiming to bring the Android OS into vehicles. Young women risking unsafe lifts
Wed, 23 Apr 2014THOUSANDS of young women are risking their lives and safety by accepting lifts from drivers they don’t know or drivers who are under the influence of drink or drugs. Among young women aged 17- to 25-years old who don’t drive, it was found that 6% have accepted a lift from a stranger. That figure rises to 13% who have got into a car with a driver who has been drinking alcohol or taken drugs.

I also have 20 years of experience educating new drivers, parents and driver-education teachers regarding safer street driving. This apparent (to some people) contradiction of experience puts me in the position of being a bit of a sounding post.
