The new trim levels – executive and Executive Style – sit above the entry-level Passat S and BlueMotion and bring extra goodies for not a lot more money than the Highline trim it replaces. Tyre-related deaths show slight fall
Fri, 27 Sep 2013FIGURES released today have revealed a slight fall in the number of deaths and serious injuries caused by dangerous tyres. The 2012 figure of 194 ‘killed of seriously injured’ (KSI) incidents represents a 5% fall from 2011, and includes a drop in fatalities of three, from 28 to 25. Serious injuries fell from 177 to 169.
Repair work to hit key road route
Tue, 24 Sep 2013A KEY ROAD ROUTE into London will be affected by closures at some weekends next summer for the completion of repair work. The summer 2014 work will be on the Hammersmith Flyover on the A4 in west London. Before that, there will be night-time lane closures starting next month as the final phase of work to strengthen the flyover's 16 spans begins.
