Henry J. Kaiser and Joe Frazer launched a new company with $20 million in government loans. One of the first all-new postwar cars resulted. Sold with Kaiser and Frazer nameplates they did so well that the firm became the leading independent car-maker by 1948. By 1950 the "sellers'market" was gone, Kaiser-Frazer needed something new. Three design groups worked on new designs. "Dutch" Darrin and Duncan McRae 's "anatomic" styling was picked. Innovations included rounded feature lines, rakish roof, low beltline and large expanse of glass. The "widow's peak" windshield and roof, nicknamed the "Darrin Dip," supposedly evolved from a slip of the pencil. The 1951 Kaiser styling won a French Grand Prix D'Honneurat Cannes. The Kaiser's engine was a flathead six. A 1951 Kaiser built in October 1951, was the firm's 500,000 th car. The Special four-door sedan was a popular offering with an estimated 70,000 sales.

SHIPPING TERMS:
By purchasing this item you agree to the following terms.
To qualify for free combined shipping all of your purchases must be paid for on the same invoice. Please do not pay for them one at a time as PayPal charges me a minimum per transaction fee and it adds up quick. Please wait for me to send you an invoice with your savings!
Please be aware all sales over $50.00 will be insured at my cost, anything of lesser value will not automatically be insured, if you want your purchase insured then you have to ask for it and at your expense because eBay will not let me offer it! They perceive you may not receive it DOH!
If you want a guarantee that you will receive your purchase then you are more than welcome to come pick it up personally. I have no control over what happens to your purchase after it leaves my hands. I am sick and tired of eBay and PayPal refunding or holding funds for something I have no control over. So with that said, you the buyer, are assuming the risk that you just might not receive your purchase for whatever reason.
I package items very well but I do not give refunds if the USPS looses or miss handles your purchase.
I may provide a replacement at my discretion for the cost of shipping if another item is available. We all make mistakes and if I make one I own up to it.
International buyers: You are responsible for any customs, duties, etc. fees on your end.
Your item will be shipped in an archive type poly sleeve with acid free cardboard backing, then sandwiched between 2 pieces of heavy cardboard and then inserted in a catalog envelope.
Clearly marked: DO NOT BEND
Pictured below is a typical example of packaging for this item.
This is a proven method that I have been using for years!
