1952-1954 Ford Nos Luggage,deck, Trunk Lid Chrome Handle & Super V8 Emblem on 2040-parts.com

This is an NOS trunk or deck lid or luggage compartment chrome bezel in the original Ford box, Ford part # BA-7043500-D and a NORS Super V-8 emblem which fits behind the emblem. This bezel was used on the 1952-1954 Ford passenger cars with the factory optional Coronado deck lid. It's a Ford original which has the Ford engineering part # "BA 7043500-D" raised on the inside of the casting. This bezel has never been installed but does have some very fine age pitting which you can see in the picture. The chrome Super V-8 is an NORS accessory item which was made in the 1950's. It has some very fine pitting and one larger pit (1/8" round) on the top of the "8." I will consider selling these two chrome pieces separately. Russo and Steele auction remains closed
Sat, 23 Jan 2010The Russo and Steele Collector Automobile Auction remained closed on Saturday as work crews continued to asses damage and clean up from high winds that destroyed two tents at the auction site in Scottsdale, Ariz., on Thursday night. In a message posted on the Russo and Steele Web site, CEO Drew Alcazar said he would meet with consignors of the cars at the auction on Saturday morning. He added that the auction would remain closed on Saturday but that Russo and Steele would work to hold auction sessions on Sunday and Monday.
School run puts pressure on parents

Many mothers and fathers worry about being late for work and have difficulty getting their children up in the mornings, the poll by insurance company Allianz showed. As many as 42% of parents said feeling rushed was their main school-run worry, while 20% got distracted while driving their offspring to school.
