These patch panels were purchased back in 1996, and may be thicker gauge than what is available today.... I just measured the thickness with my caliper as well as I could.. looks to be between .0050, and .0055 ... These parts are stamped well but do need to be fit and have the edges smoothed.. there are snip spots on the lower rear edges which need to be dealt with   ( the left side depicted ) this is part of the fabrication process of these heavy gauge outer skin particular patch panels. the area dimensions are 14 " tall, 15 " front to back (  longest point at top )
