All three publications have been folded in half so there are strong crease lines. The 50th Anniversary "Service Letter" has been wet at the corners which caused a small area of the pages to stick together, this area ripped when separated, see photo.
Country/Region of Manufacture:Canada Lot Size:3 pieces Brand:Ford Dimensions:8 1/2" x 11" Date Issued:1952; 1953 Publisher:Ford Motor Company of Canada

Offered are 3 different Ford Motor Company of Canada "Service Letters" published during 1952 and 1953.

The content of the first two publications is a collection of service tips and procedures, sort of like what might be found in a service manual. The "50th Anniversary" publication mostly discusses the 1952 model specifications and improvements from previous models, there are just a few short service tips provided.

The original mail recipient of these publications was Riverside Motors of Coboconk Ontario, Canada. I'm not able to state what type of business this was, may have been a car dealership, new or used I don't know?

CCS - AISI project 2007

Wed, 26 Sep 2007

The college for Creative Studies (CCS) has been teaming up with the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) since 1989, bringing together imaginative automotive design and steel, the material of choice in the industry. As did last year's program, this summer also saw three engineering students from the University of Michigan (UM) join three CCS transportation design students to develop a concept car. Revolving around an 'Inside Out' theme, students conceptualized, rendered and created a concept vehicle based on a steel exoskeleton design.
