Keep warm in your '51 or '52 FORD truck this winter with this completely restored '52 Magic Air heater . Some differences from a '51 to a '52 . Most noticeably is the Motor cover badge . This is correct for a '52 . See last pic for a '51 emblem . Core tubes on a '51 are 5 1/8 O.C. - '52 is 3 1/8 O.C. Fresh air tube elbow on a '51 is flush w./ 3 studs that bolts to a 4" round adapter flange while a '52 fresh air tube elbow has a 1" extended flange that accepts the boot . A '51 cable control panel is back lighted with large chrome escutcheons on the cables , '52 cables are bare w/ a plain panel .You will receive this '52 heater w/ remanned core & pressure tested ,w/ a fine true running 6V.pos. ground motor ( up grade to a 12V neg grnd motor $74.00 extra ) a '52 3 pc. fresh air tube , custom made gaskets , a '52 boot , defrost ducts , a '52 cable control panel (w/a custom made decal ) & smooth operating cables .A 44" length of defrost hose is included ., plenty for both hoses . Renault Zoe sets new electric car record for distance travelled

It seems Renault are determined to prove that an electric car – in this case the Renault Zoe EV – can travel sensible distances in a sensible period of time. So they set out to run a pair of production spec Renault Zoes round the Aubevoye speed ring in Normandy for a full twenty four hours with the aim of breaking the record for distance travelled in an electric car in that time (yes, there’s a world record for everything these days).

NHTSA upgrades probe of 1.2 million Toyota Corollas, Matrixes
Mon, 23 Aug 2010Federal regulators have upgraded an investigation of as many as 1.2 million Toyota Corollas for possible engine stalling. Consumers have filed 1,101 complaints about Corollas and Corolla Matrixes for 2005-07 models, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said in a filing on its Website. “The engine can stall at any speed without warning and not restart,” NHTSA said in describing the problem.
