PLYMOUTH HUBCAPS

THESE  CAPS ARE GETTING HARDER TO FIND AND REALLY COOL TO DISPLAY IF YOU ARE RUNNING CUSTOM WHEELS.  5 CAPS ARE INCLUDED.

ON TO THE DESCRIPTION.  THESE ARE UNRESTORED CAPS.  GOOD CAPS FOR THE VEHICLE MISSING THEM.  THEY ARE IN NO WAY, SHAPE OR FORM BARRET JACKSON HIGH DOLLAR, SHOW CAPS.  THEY ARE USED CAPS. PLEAE LOOK CLOSELY, READ ALL OF THE DESCRIPTION AND USE THE ZOOM FEATURE BEFORE BIDDING.

THEY SUFFER FROM SOME  TYPICAL WEAR INCLUDING  LITTLE DINGS, BB TO FINGERPRINT IN SIZE MOSTLY, AND SOME SCRATCHES ON EACH.  THREE OF THE CAPS ARE MUCH BETTER THAN THE OTHER TWO HAVE SOFTER DINGS AND SCRATCHES. THE FOURTH CAP IS OK BUT DOES HAVE MORE IN THE WAY OF DINGS AND A DISCOLORATION RUN THAT MAY OR MAY NOT POLISH OUT.  THE FIFTH CAP IS MUCH ROUGHER WITH LOTS OF LITTLE DINGS AND SCRATCHES BUT IS TILL USEABLE.    ANYWAY, THEY ARE NOT PERFECT FRIENDS, NONE OF THESE OLD CAPS ARE.  AND ONCE AGAIN, THESE ARE JUST OLD USED CAPS.  HARD CAPS TO FIND THOUGH AND VERY REASONABLY PRICED.  COOL WALL ART TOO.

COOL EXAMPLES FROM A DAY GONE BY.  ON A SCALE OF 1-5 WITH 5 AS THE HIGH, BASED ON AGE, RARITY & CONDITION I RATE THREE OF THESE A 3+++, ONE CAP A 3 AND THE OTHER CAP A 2.

ONE OTHER COMMENT, WE SPENT A SEVERAL WEEKENDS AT SOME OF THE LARGEST SWAP MEETS IN THE MIDWEST OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS.  HUNDREDS OF VENDORS, THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE AND NONE OF THESE.  TAKE A CLOSE LOOK AT THEM.  WE ALSO ATTEND BARRETT JACKSON AND MECUM AUCTIONS REGULARLY. THE POINT IS THIS.  ONLY THE FINEST AND ULTRA EXPENSIVE CARS SEEM TO HAVE PERFECT TRIM.

I try to be honest about what I sell.  Almost all of these old hubcaps have imperfections.  Unless you are willing to spend hundreds for a set the best you can do are look for those in decent shape which these are.

WE SHIP ALL OVER THE WORLD AND COMBINE SHIPPING!

These old car parts are becoming more and more scarce.  After 10 years of selling over a 8000 items we've come to this conclusion.   If we can't sell the parts for a reasonable price, we're going to warehouse them. This is especially true of the nice parts and more unusual parts.  All they can do is go up in value.  Our point is this.  We've got the space and the means to collect and store what we sell.  Having said that don't be surprised if we run an item only once or twice and if it doesn't sell it doesn't show back up.  Please don't misunderstand us.  We want and do appreciate your business.  It just doesn't make sense to us to spend time and money relisting items over and over when almost all of these parts have only one way to go in the future.  UP.

PLEASE NOTE:  DUE TO SEVERAL NON-PAYERS WE HAVE ADDED THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT MEANT FOR THOSE TYPE OF BIDDERS.  WHILE THE VAST MAJORITY OF BUYERS PAY FOR WHAT THEY BID ON, WE HAVE RECENTLY SEEN A SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN UNPAID ITEMS.  SO>>>IF YOU PLAN ON BIDDING PLEASE PLAN ON PAYING.   THANKS.  HAPPY BIDDING.

Top new car deals for President's Day weekend

Sat, 16 Feb 2013

It's President's Day weekend, which means a solemn celebration of two great Americans new car deals from coast to coast! Mattress blowouts too, but those are covered elsewhere. We're not entirely sure how Washington and Lincoln got associated with the war on high prices, but many car dealers use President's Day weekend to launch their first incentive programs of the year.

Mercedes-Benz to use inflatable rear seatbelts on new car

Fri, 20 Jul 2012

Mercedes-Benz will begin equipping its cars with inflatable seatbelts for rear passengers, making it the second automaker to use the safety technology. Mercedes said the belt would be introduced on an upcoming luxury car. A likely candidate is the redesigned S-class sedan, which the German automaker is preparing to put into production next year.
