FARM TRACTORS & OTHER IMPLEMENTS

Good morning, today we have a 1953 - AUTO-LITE - SERVICE PARTS CATALOG BOOK up for auction.

This book contains a wealth of information for FARM TRACTORS from 1935 to 1953. It covers all brands of vehicles from the most common to the very obscure unknown brands.

The book is in a good used condition. The manual comes from a former General Motors dealership, and as such has been used by the mechanics in the dealership. It may have some dust and stains, and greasy finger prints on some pages

The book is 8 1/2" by 11" and has 80 pages. It contains all the information that a mechanic needs for the repair parts of these type of vehicles.

It also contains a great illustrated parts guide, which will help you find that special part at a flea market or swap meet

It covers the following type of products:

DISTRIBUTOR & COIL EQUIPMENT

GENERATOR & REGULATOR EQUIPMENT

STARTING MOTORS & SWITCHES

IGNITION COIL APPLICATION DATA

DISTRIBUTOR PARTS APPLICATION DATA

GENERATOR PARTS APPLICATION DATA

REGULATOR & RELAY APPLICATION DATA

STARTING MOTOR PARTS APPLICATION DATA

SWITCH APPLICATION DATA

Even though this book is for a 1953 I am sure most information can be used for other year models as well, as there was not many changes between the years.

These books are invaluable if you are able to do your own repair work. A similar manual on a car I owned saved me over $800.00 on a repair that I could do myself, as opposed to having a dealer do the service work. The book should pay for itself after only one use.

The APPLICATION DATA part of this book is especially helpful, as it has pictures of a lot of the electrical items. This can be a great help if you are trying to identify that rare part at a flea market or swap meet. You will not find this type of information anywhere but in a book like this.

This book is a MUST HAVE if you are still using or restoring one of these older model tractors.

This book is considered a HARD FIND and rarely appears on Ebay - Do not hesitate about bidding on this item - You may NEVER find another copy

Unfortunately we are located in Canada, and delivery may take longer than if it was mailed from a US address - Delivery is usually 7 to 10 business days.

We have several similar manuals on auction this week and will gladly combine items for the lowest shipping cost.

As you can probably tell from the quality of my pictures, I do not make my living as a professional photographer

Shipping & Payment

Shipping for this item is only $5.95 (USPS FLAT RATE ENVELOPE) for all areas of North America, except CANADA which is $11.95, with very secure packaging. This is the actual cost of postage from Canada to the USA since Canada Post raised their rates on Jan. 12

For payment we accept PAYPAL, .

THANK YOU FOR LOOKING

and

GOOD LUCK BIDDING

Jaguar XJ: 4WD XJ planned

Jaguar XJ to get 4WD option It looks as if Autocar have been having a cosy little fireside chat with Jaguar about works in progress and future directions. Some of which is new, some of which isn’t. And some of which – heaven forfend – may be made up.
