BUICK GM OTHERS ASHTRAY

I BELIEVE THIS IS A GOOD UNRESTORED ASHTRAY FROM A 53 BUICK.  THE OLD GUY I ACQUIRED IT FROM IDENTIFIED IT AS SUCH.  HE HAD OWNED A SALVAGE YARD MOST OF HIS LIFE AND I HAVE ACQUIRED A NUMBER OF PARTS FROM HIM OVER THE YEARS.  MOST OF THE TIME HE IS CORRECT.  THAT SAID HE IS IN HIS LATE 70S NOW.  THIS IS NOT A PART THAT WE CAN EASILY IDENTIFY SO WE ARE GOING ON HIS WORD.  YOU LOOK CLOSELY AND DECIDE ONCE YOU STUDY THE PICS.  IT IS ABOUT 1 7 7/8 BY 1& 7/8 AND ABOUT 5 7 1/8 INCHES LONG.  IT HAS THE PATINA ONLY FATHER TIME AND MOTHER NATURE CAN PROVIDE.  THERE IS SOME PAINT WEAR AND SURFACE RUST AND MAYBE A LITTLE WAVE IN THE FRONT.  REGARDLESS IT IS A HARD TO FIND PART.  PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICS AND JUDGE FOR YOURSELF BEFORE BIDDING.  AGAIN, A HARD TO FIND PART  SO LOOK CLOSELY AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF A GREAT DEAL.   ON A SCALE OF 1-5 WITH 5 AS THE HIGH, I AM RATING IT A 3+,  based on age, rarity and condition.

I AM honest about what I sell.  Almost all of these old parts have imperfections.  Unless you are willing to spend a lot of money for parts the best you can do are look for those in GOOD shape which this is.

HELLO FRIENDS.  JUST A QUICK NOTE. WE'VE SPENT QUITE A BIT OF TIME AT SOME OF THE MIDWEST'S LARGEST SWAP MEETS  SEARCHING FOR PARTS.  THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE, HUNDREDS OF VENDORS, AND NONE OF THESE.

SO LOOK CLOSELY AND BID IF YOU NEED IT.  WE ALSO ATTEND BARRETT JACKSON AND MECUM AUCTIONS REGULARLY AND CAN HONESTLY TELL YOU THAT THERE ARE A NUMBER OF VEHICLES SOLD WITH LESS THAN PERFECT TRIM.   CHROME AND STAINLESS HAVE JUST BECOME SO EXPENSIVE.

WE SHIP ALL OVER THE WORLD!

These old car parts are becoming more and more scarce.  After 9 years of selling over a 7000 items we've come to this conclusion.   If we can't sell the parts for a reasonable price, we're going to warehouse them. This is especially true of the nice parts and more unusual parts.  All they can do is go up in value.  Our point is this.  We've got the space and the means to collect and store what we sell.  Having said that don't be surprised if we run an item only once or twice and if it doesn't sell it doesn't show back up.  Please don't misunderstand us.  We want and do appreciate your business.  It just doesn't make sense to us to spend time and money relisting items over and over when almost all of these parts have only one way to go in the future.  UP.

PLEASE NOTE:  DUE TO SEVERAL NON-PAYERS WE HAVE ADDED THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT MEANT FOR THOSE TYPE OF BIDDERS.  WHILE THE VAST MAJORITY OF BUYERS PAY FOR WHAT THEY BID ON, WE HAVE RECENTLY SEEN A SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN UNPAID ITEMS.  SO>>>IF YOU PLAN ON BIDDING

By Ben Whitworth First Official Pictures 10 August 2007 09:52 Nice rally car and all, but I'm a bit lost... It's simple. At the upcoming Frankfurt motorshow, Subaru will pull the wraps off this Impreza WRC 'concept' car, which is great for rally fans.

Amazing garage-find Jaguars to be auctioned

Fri, 18 Oct 2013

TWO REMARKABLE Jaguars that were found abandoned in separate garages are to be sold at auction. A 1961 E-Type, one of the earliest ever made and confirmed as chassis number 40, was discovered just a few weeks ago in a garage near Le Mans by Coys auction house, which will also complete the sale. The car hasn’t moved since it was left in the garage in 1974, although Coys claims the engine was last started five years ago and it still turns over freely.

Mercedes-Benz has revealed its new Citan urban delivery van ahead of its public debut at September's IAA Commercial Vehicle Show in Hanover and is the first product of Daimler's partnership with Renault/Nissan. The company's latest model, the first to be designed specifically for the urban environment, will complete the Mercedes-Benz family of vans and is available in a choice of three lengths – Compact (3,940mm), Long (4,320mm) and Extra-long (4,710mm) – and three model variants. The basic version is the panel van, available in all three lengths, with another model being the Citan Mixto with five seats, based on the extra-long version and has a foldable rear bench seat and two sliding doors.
