Starting Feb. 28 and running through the end of September, the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles celebrates all that is good about bad car ideas in an exhibit titled "What Were They Thinking?" A total of 60 Ferrari F40s took to the Silverstone track at last weekend’s Silverstone Classic to celebrate 25 years of the F40 – a world record. Perhaps, just perhaps, the Ferrari F40 is Ferrari’s finest hypercar and stands as Enzo Ferrari’s last automotive statement before his death a year after the F40 launched in 1987. To celebrate the F40′s 25th birthday the Silverstone Classic gathered together as many F40s as they could muster for a parade lap at Silverstone at the weekend.

Red Bull Racing's X2014 concept car to feature in GT6

Red Bull Racing has revealed its X2014 concept car that will feature in the upcoming Gran Turismo 6 racing game. The Formula 1 team's chief technical officer Adrian Newey worked alongside Polyphony Digital to develop the road car, which is obviously very much inspired by F1 car design. Elements such as the F1 car nose and low-hanging front spoiler are proof of this, although the design features headlamps and fenders surrounding the tires.
