Peugeot RCZ GT THP 1.6 156 Review & Road Test (2010) Part 3
Tue, 21 Sep 2010Peugeot RCZ Review - The striking Double Bubble Roof Even though you can see the interior of the RCZ is 308 titivated, it’s still a decent place to be with its leather, embossed sports seats and a decent number of toys. And the rather less than accurate SatNav which always seems to have a brainstorm wherever I want to go and sends me somewhere else. And it’s not just in the RCZ; I have the same problem in every Peugeot I’ve driven recently.
F1: Bahrain Grand Prix back on – India Grand Prix now in December
Sun, 05 Jun 20112011 Bahrain Grand Prix - back on in October The start of the F1 Circus this year was put back after the Arab Spring made the Gulf Kindom of Bahrain a less than suitable venue for something as frivolous as Formula One, leading to the postponement of the 2011 Bahrain Grand Prix. But now it seems the Bahranians are convinced they’ve put a lid on the populist move to topple their regime (how they’ve done that is debatable), so the FIA’s World Motor Sport Council met on Friday and reinstated the Bahrain Grand Prix for 30th October. That date was originally supposed to be the date of the inaugural Indian Grand Prix, but that too has been pushed back and will now take place at the end of the season, at the same time as the FIA Annual General Assembly and Prize-Giving Gala on December 11th.
Chris Evans CarFest: It’s all coming together
Wed, 08 Aug 2012Chris Evans’ CarFest South & CarFest North are on track to deliver great weekends of petrolhead delight at Laverstoke Park Farm & Cholmondeley Castle. Listeners to Chris Evans’ Radio 2 Breakfast Show discovered Chris’s plans for his very own car festival – to benefit the BBC Children in Need Charity – when Chris was looking for a way to take his mind off bread for Lent, and CarFest was born. The CarFest plan was nothing more than a brief outline for a great weekend – super cars, great food and terrific music – but soon gained a life of its own as word spread of Chris’s plans.
