12V Led Tail Lights Inserts (2) Here is a your chance to update your stop/tail lights with the new led technology. It just couldn't get any easier! All 45 red led's light up for tail lights and all get brighter for stop/turn. The left side has 6 white led's for the license plate light. They use epoxy coated, fully sealed electronics on solid state circuit boards. These appear stock until you look close. The led's are instant on and off. Almost unnatural! They are so fast NHRA had to re-calculate the Christmas Tree when they converted. Low current so they run cool. Tremendous life span. The listing is for both sides. The 2014 Mercedes CLS is not a ‘new generation’ as Mercedes may have you believe, but more a nip and tuck. That means the outside has been tweaked with new LED headlamps as standard equipment across the range, as well as a new ‘diamond’ front grille, slightly chunkier front bumper with gaping air intakes, and tail lamps that have been given a darker, smoked look.
