1953 Corvette Original 5454480 Delco Remy Master Cylinder on 2040-parts.com

This is a original correct 1953 Chevrolet Corvette master cylinder with cast number 5450233 on the inboard side that I kept as backup for my 53. Notice that the 233 is larger than the rest of the cast number. There were two styles used in 53. Debossed cast numbers and the raised cast numbers with a large 233. The date is cast 3-9. This RARE master cylinder has the correct part number 5454480 on the front seal and the correct lid.. It is in bare metal with minimal pitting. It looks to be in nice condition. but I would have it freshened up by a rebuilder.

Mon, 07 Jun 2010Looks like the Ferrari 458 Italia Spider is getting a folding hard top You don’t need to be a supercar guru to know that Maranello’s latest mid-engined wonder – the Ferrari 458 Italia – is going to spawn a convertible version in the not too distant future. And if you claim to be a Ferrari aficenado you can probably proclaim – with reasonable certainty – that it will be a rag-top Spider. But it looks like you could be wrong.
BMW Z4 M Sport Package released
Mon, 14 Dec 2009BMW is to debut the M Sport Package for the Z4 at the Detroit Auto Show Back in September we brought you some pictures of what at first glance appeared to be a BMW Z4M, despite BMW making it clear that they are not going to build an M car this time round. But it actually turned out to be a Z4 with M Sport Package zapping round the Nurburgring looking, to all intents and purposes, like a new hot Z4. Almost three months on BMW has finally got round to revealing the M Sport Package for the Z4 which will – just like the BMW Z4 sDrive35is we reported on yesterday – debut at the Detroit Motor Show in January 2010.

We revealed back in April that a new version of the MINI JCW GP was on the way, and MINI got round to confirming that in May when the new MINI John Cooper Works GP was officially revealed. At the time, MINI told us that the new MINI GP could hustle round the Nurburgring a full 19 seconds quicker than the old MINI GP making the new hot MINI the fastest MINI ever made (well, the fastest MINI ever made by BMW, anyway).
