BMW 520d SE Touring Review (2011)
Sat, 29 Oct 2011The very good looking BMW 520d Touring We have what is probably the pick of the new BMW 5 Series Estates – the BMW 520d SE Touring – in for review and road test. It’s arguable that the BMW 5 Series Touring is the best estate you can buy. With a huge range of engine options there’s something for everybody, but perhaps the best choice for most is the car we have here for review and road test – the BMW 520d SE Touring.
Audi Urban Concept
Sun, 28 Aug 2011Audi has released additional photos and information on the Urban Concept, which is set to make its debut at the Frankfurt motor show in September. As we previously reported, the new car – touted by Audi as a 'new kind of concept car' that combines aspects of a racing car as well as a fun-to-drive urban vehicle – is a diminutive two-passenger vehicle powered by two e-tron electric motors. Measuring in at 3200mm long, 1700mm wide and 1200mm tall, the Urban Concept is expected to weigh less than 500kg, thanks largely to a cockpit made from CFRP.
Mercedes accidentally publishes the first 2014 Mercedes S-Class photo
Wed, 01 May 2013The image has since been removed, but not before it escaped in to the wild to give us our first official view of the new S Class, a car which has always set new standards in equipment and safety with each new launch, and the 2014 S Class will be no different. What will be different is the range of models we expect to arrive in the next few years, from standard and long wheelbase S Class through an S Class Coupe, S Class Convertible and a super-luxury S Class Pullman, which will effectively replace Mercedes’ failed Maybach adventure. The new S Class looks less bulbous than its current incarnation, with the bulging rear wheel arches gone and a slimmer look all round.
