I'm helping clean out an old radio repair shop. This rare packard radio looks to be complete except the faceplate and knobs. I pulled the cover and all the tubes are there. From what I can see of the speaker it appears to be undamaged. I have not attempted to test the radio. Assume that it will need restored. The pushbuttons operate freely and the one dial does also.

'Ender's Game' Audi fleet shuttle quattro concept development revealed [w/Video]
Wed, 30 Oct 2013Audi has released a short video and pictures exploring the development of the fleet shuttle quattro from the new sci-fi blockbuster 'Ender's Game'. The concept, presented as a 1:4 illuminated scale model at the movie's premiere at the Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles, was first announced in August and is Audi's first car completely designed on a computer. During filming the actors drove an Audi A7 Sportback before Digital Domain – responsible for the film's special effects – used computer-generated imagery to transform it into the digital fleet shuttle Quattro in post-production.
MG3 supermini (2013) first official pictures
Mon, 22 Apr 2013This is the MG’s new Fiesta-fighting supermini: the MG3. It’ll go on sale in late 2013 carrying Korean brand-challenging prices and what MG is touting as ‘a distinctive statement of modern British style’ aimed at young buyers. Though the 3 is more likely to draw in penny-pinching pensioners, given that MG’s past that is rather more evoctive than its present.
Antique Automobile Club of America displays car collecting and its finest in Hershey
Fri, 22 Oct 2010Searching for vintage car parts, literature, gas station collectables, or even a nice old car? The best place to look is the annual Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Fall National Meet, better known as “Hershey.” Now in its 55th year, it's the world's largest old car gathering, with an 1,800-car concours, more than 1,000 cars for sale in the “car corral,” and, best of all, an astounding 9,000 flea market spaces, chock full of more automotive artifacts than you can imagine, all scattered in no particular order on 85-plus acres--that's nearly 90 football fields--or “22 miles of aisles,” as Hershey devotees say. It takes a lot of walking, but walk we did for four days, for a close-up of this fascinating offshoot of the old-car hobby.
