This is a pair of VINTAGE, Lynx Eye American made, New Old Replacement Stock (N.O.R.S.) Parking Light Lamp Lenses.


Per Pontiac parts books, correct for:

1953: All Chieftain models (deluxe, custom, special, six, eight, sedan, station wagon, catalina, convertible coupe)


*Has "PL-684" and  "5940671" on the back of the lenses


*One lens has what looks like a small scratch on the bottom part that would be behind the housing / bezel (Photo 4  )

SCCA, IMSA champion joins Survive the Drive

Bob Sharp, SCCA and IMSA GTU champion, has joined the board of directors of Survive the Drive, an organization aimed at educating teen drivers about auto safety and crash prevention. Sharp joins Sam Posey and John Fitch as representatives from the motorsports world. Survive the Drive began in 1997 in northwestern Connecticut with Skip Barber Driving School instructor Bob Green.

Jaguar already has a new Jaguar XJC on the drawing board – a coupe version of the new Jaguar XJ The last Jaguar XJC was in the ’70s, and was built on the SWB version of the Series II Jaguar XJ.  In fact – by the time Jaguar got round to launching the XJC on to the market in 1975 – it was the only XJ that had the SWB, as all XJ saloons had moved over to the LWB as standard. A glorious-looking car – especially in ‘New Avengers’ guise as driven by Steed – it was plagued by the problems that beset British Leyland at the time.
