This is a vintage original hot rat rod 1953 pontiac chieftan chrome trunk middle strip with straight 8 emblem ornament. It has a few small surface scratches and a couple of dings. The chrome 8 emblem has some mosquito bite pitting. It has mounting clips. This is a nice straight piece, shines nice.

You need a handy supply of snow socks and winter tyres too if you’re going to make any length of journey in seriously cold and snowy conditions without stopping to dig yourself out at regular intervals. But Jaguar now has an XJ that can tackle poor and snowy conditions in the AWD XJ (although, sadly, it’s not on sale in the UK) so they’ve headed out on a 2,000 mile round trip in temperatures down to -50 degrees to show that the 4WD XJ just keeps on going.
Honda recalls CR-V to fix control-arm problem
Fri, 23 Mar 2012Honda is recalling about 1,300 copies of the 2006 CR-V to inspect and possibly replace the right-front lower control arm. Honda says that the part could have been made with an improper welding process. Over time the control arm could break at the weld.
