This is a NEW 6V temperature sender. This sender was used on 1955 Thunderbirds and 1954 and 1955 Ford passenger cars and Mercurys. It has "6V" stamped on the flange and includes the temperature wire attaching screw on the top of the sender. Perfect for replacing a missing, damaged or defective 6V temperature sender. The influence of the Essence is most apparent in the sedan's undulating character line and the way that the hood plunges down to meet a low-set front grille complete with concave outer edges.
