This is an NOS starter to flywheel housing rubber seal with metal core, Ford part # B4A 6436-A. This seal was used on all 1954 thru 1962 Fords, Thunderbirds, Lincolns and Mercurys with a 239, 256, 272, 292, 312, 332 and 352 V8 engine. This seal is a factory original which has "FoMoCo" and the Ford part # raised in the rubber. Perfect for replacing a missing, worn or aftermarket seal with an assembly line original. Mazda pushes fuel economy, plans a new engine by 2011
Mon, 24 Aug 2009Mazda's push to increase fuel economy across its model line will include a new range of gasoline engines and may involve the introduction of diesel and idle-stop technology in the United States. Mazda is aiming to increase fuel economy across its global lineup by 30 percent by 2015. The first stage of that transformation will include the introduction of a more fuel-efficient four-cylinder powertrain in 2011.

Although it’s two years since Ford revealed the C-Max and Grand C-Max at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2009, it took another year for the new Fords to hit the market. But since the C-Max duo hit showrooms in late 2010, they’ve certainly made up for lost time.
Ford announces new Silicon Valley research laboratory
Fri, 06 Jan 2012Ford has announced plans to open a new R&D center in California's Silicon Valley with a view to creating a hub for collaborative technology projects. With neighbors including Google, Microsoft, facebook, Apple and Stanford University, it's certainly setting up shop in the right part of town. Its location also connects Ford's Advanced Design Studio in Irvine, CA and Ford employees working with connectivity platform partner Microsoft Corp.
