Up for auction is a running 235 6 cylinder chevy engine removed from a 1954 chevy 3100 pickup truck.  This is one of the best swap engine to an earlier chevy car.  This is the first year of the pressurized engine and still has the short water pump so you can swap it into most earlier chevy cars and trucks.  This motor was pulled last spring and has sat on a pallet in my garage since.  It came from a truck that recieved a v8 swap.  Mileage is unknown.  Look at the pics to see for yourself.  Email me any questions.  Check out my other auctions for more great parts.  Local pickup only on this.  Its located in Milwaukee WI.  Zip 53220.  Engine must be picked up within 2 weeks after auction ends.

Nissan has released this teaser image of the Murano CrossCabriolet ahead of the vehicle’s official unveiling at the 2010 LA Auto Show next week.

Four in 10 'driving damaged cars'

MORE THAN four in 10 UK motorists admit they are getting behind the wheel of vehicles that are damaged, according to shocking new research from Kwik Fit. From chipped windscreens to balding tyres, the 43% figure equates to more than 16 million cars on UK roads with potentially dangerous faults or damages. Damaged body work is the most common vehicle issue, as cited by over half (56%) of all motorists who admitted to driving damaged cars.

The Rover 75 Coupe - one of MG Rover's last big ideas before its collapse in 2005 MG Rover was bought from BMW for the princely sum of £10 after BMW had had enough of trying to make a viable company out of a business that was still undermined by the woes – and attitudes – of the British Leyland years. That £10 purchase price also came with £425 million in loans from BMW, so MG Rover had a chance. But the collapse, and the subsequent sale of the rights to the MG trademark to SAIC (Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation), brought accusations that the ‘Phoenix Four’ – Directors and owners of MG Rover – has acted fraudulently when it was revealed they had acquired more than £40 million in pension rights, salary and assets in the intervening five years between purchase from BMW and collapse.
