up for sale is a 1954 GMC 248 engine short block.  The Block is Bored .030 over and has a new set of pistons,  The Crank has been turned .010 on the Mains and the rod bearing.  This is the main ingredient for a good re-manufactured engine.  The engine has been setting on the shelf a long time so I will take it apart and clean and check everything for the new buyer. Volkswagen will unveil the production version of its MK7 Golf GTi at next week’s Geneva Motor Show, marking more than 30 years of the venerable hot hatch. This isn't the first time we've seen this car: back in September, Volkswagen showed a concept version of the GTi at the Paris Motor Show.
