up for sale is a 1954 GMC 248 engine short block. The Block is Bored .030 over and has a new set of pistons, The Crank has been turned .010 on the Mains and the rod bearing. This is the main ingredient for a good re-manufactured engine. The engine has been setting on the shelf a long time so I will take it apart and clean and check everything for the new buyer. U.K. firm plans modern Jensen Interceptor
Tue, 20 Sep 2011CPP, a British specialist automotive group co-owned by Russian businessman Vladimir Antonov, said it will build a modern version of the iconic Jensen Interceptor grand tourer, starting in 2014. Healey Sports Cars Switzerland, which owns the Jensen brand, has appointed CPP to engineer, develop and build the car, CPP said on Tuesday. CPP will build the Interceptor in a new factory on the site of the former Jaguar Browns Lane plant in Coventry, England.

Martin Emila of Autodesk showed how Maya could accelerate the development of a design concept with the help of polygonal modeling workflow, and how it can be integrated into common workflow - starting with first ideation sketch, move to polygon model and continue to surfacing and visualization. Emila's four-year career at Autodesk has largely focused on conceptual design and visualization.
