Bower Wheel Bearings – Inner x 2

Part #348640

Good Condition

No Reserve

You are bidding on a pair of Bower wheel bearings (inner) that I had for a 1954 Packard that I restored – Part #348640.  These are in great condition and have been kept in a sealed plastic bag for a couple of years. I originally bought them from Max Merritt Auto as you can see from the photos and are currently being listed as $45 for one.   Opening bid can get two for less than half the going rate.  I restored a 1954 Packard Caribbean and have a box of leftover parts that I’ll be listing on ebay.  I am sure they might fit other models but just not sure which ones.  Please see photos for the condition of these wheel bearings.    All parts being sold as is.

If you want additional photos, I can send them.  Buyer will be responsible for shipping of approximately $4.00.   As I said I’m listing other 1954 Packard pieces so I’ll be happy to combine shipping.   Please see my other auctions and feedbacks to be assured of quality and professionalism.  Please email me with any questions.  Thanks for looking.

PLEASE CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY UPON WINNING THE AUCTION TO ARRANGE PAYMENT AND SHIPPING.  THANK YOU.

Exclusive: Bertone BAT 11 unveiled

Wed, 05 Mar 2008

For the first time in over 50 years, Bertone sadly did not have a stand at this year's Geneva Show, largely due to the severe financial difficulties facing the company. However, that didn't stop them making a surprise debut at the first AutoDesignNight last night in Geneva with the amazing BAT 11 concept, commissioned by American enthusiast Gary Kaberle who owned the original 1955 BAT 9 car. The car was exclusively unveiled before an audience of 400 of the world's top designers at an evening reception at La Sip nightclub in the heart of the city.

Tata Nano (2008): first official pictures

Thu, 10 Jan 2008

By John Sootheran First Official Pictures 10 January 2008 09:33 Shove over a bit Henry Ford, Ferry Porsche and Alec Issigonis, because as of this morning there's a new entrant for the People's Car Hall of Fame. The first day of the Indian Auto Expo 2008 in Delhi, saw Ratan N Tata (yes, the fella who's leading the bid for Jaguar and Land Rover) reveal his much vaunted 'one lakh' car (that's 100,000 rupees or a measly £1300). Despite being the Chairman and CEO of one of the world's biggest corporations, Ratan Tata admits to being a nervous presenter, so much so, that the initial information was presented by his hologram! When he did appear, it was behind the wheel of one of three 'one lakh' cars being driven onto the stage. The 3000-strong audience of press and VIPs went beserk amid scenes of euphoria last witnessed at the Clinton comeback in New Hampshire.
