Bower Wheel Bearings – Outer x 2

Part #379474

NOS Condition

No Reserve

You are bidding on a pair of Bower wheel bearings (outer) that I had for a 1954 Packard that I restored – Part #379474.  These are NOS and have been kept in a sealed plastic bag for a couple of years. I originally bought them from Max Merritt Auto as you can see from the photos and are currently being listed as $30 for one.   Opening bid can get two for less than half the going rate.  I restored a 1954 Packard Caribbean and have a box of leftover parts that I’ll be listing on ebay.  I am sure they might fit other models but just not sure which ones.  Please see photos for the condition of these wheel bearings.    All parts being sold as is.

If you want additional photos, I can send them.  Buyer will be responsible for shipping of approximately $4.00.   As I said I’m listing other 1954 Packard pieces so I’ll be happy to combine shipping.   Please see my other auctions and feedbacks to be assured of quality and professionalism.  Please email me with any questions.  Thanks for looking.

PLEASE CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY UPON WINNING THE AUCTION TO ARRANGE PAYMENT AND SHIPPING.  THANK YOU.

Jaguar XJ – the ‘All-Star’ car

Tue, 11 Jan 2011

The Jaguar XJ receives Automobile Magazine's All Star Award No, ‘All Star’ doesn’t refer to celebs who’ve fallen for the charms of Jaguar’s new XJ, from our own Jaguar-loving Richard Madeley to rap’s own Mr Jay-Zed who featured a new XJ in a recent vid. The ‘All Star’ here is the All-Star Award from America’s Automobile magazine who’ve decided that the new XJ deserves an award, just as the Jaguar XF deserved the same accolade in 2009 and 2010. According to Automobile magazine: “The toughest part about this class is that it’s very hard for any one car to stand out in the crowd, and yet the XJ manages to do just that, in both its design and its dynamics.

Brian Wilson to perform at Petersen fundraiser

Wed, 29 Apr 2009

The annual Petersen Automotive Museum's fundraising event on May 7 promises to be fun, fun, fun when Beach Boy Brian Wilson and his band take the stage. The rock-'n'-roll icon is scheduled to play for an hour as part of the museum's largest charity event of the year, proceeds from which benefit the 501(c)(3) institution. The Beach Boys had a lot of car-themed hits, including "409," "Little Deuce Coupe" and "Fun, Fun, Fun." (AutoWeek trivia: The Deuce Coupe featured on the cover of the album of the same name belonged to Clarence "Chili" Catallo, whose son, the successful and powerful advertising executive Curt Catallo, once was a lowly editorial assistant at AutoWeek).

Nissan GT-R beats its Nurburgring record – more to come today?

Fri, 17 Apr 2009

The jubilant Nissan GT-R team celebrates their new lap record at the Nurburgring [ad#ad-1] The Nissan GT-R is indeed an impressive car. It offers real supercar performance for what appears to be a relatively modest price. Admittedly it still costs an arm and a leg to service, and with exchange rates as they are at the moment it will become less of a bargain, but it’s certainly chucked a very big spanner in to the works as far as the more established Supercar makers are concerned (Porsche in particular had plenty to say about the last time the GT-R set).
