This is an original 1954 VW sales brochure covering Transporter line of Volkswagens.  It is 8 1/4” X 4”, has 18 pages & is in good condition (it has a couple of very small tears & a very slight bit of seam separation otherwise good shape).  It has the original dealership stamp on the back.  It covers the Delivery Van, Kombi, Micro Bus, Micro Bus De Luxe & the Pick-up.  It shows several color pictures of each model including interior pictures as well as cut-a-way drawings.  The text covers the features, specs, engine data, performance data, dimensions & options.  This piece is TWP 238 E-80 & it is dated November of 1953.  This is not a commonly seen piece.  Thanks for looking please browse our store.

A9 cameras already curbing speeders

NEWLY-INSTALLED cameras on one of Scotland's most notorious roads are already cutting drivers' speed. The average-speed cameras on the A9 have not yet been switched on, but have nonetheless seen the number of motorists breaking the speed the limit on the Perth to Pitlochry stretch drop from one in three to one in 10. Work began to install the devices from Perth to Inverness last month, one of a number of planned measures to improve safety on the main route connecting central Scotland and the Highlands.
