Hello , I have a set of four 38612 Cadillac Sabre wheels that I believe are off a 1955 Cadillac . They will however fit a 1956 . If used on a 1957 and a 1958 they will require a spacer if used on the front wheels . I have added a linc to the bottom of this listing so you can check it out yourself . These wheels have been in storage for 45 to 50 years . They are good driver quality and will have to be re chromed to bring back to new condition . All 4 wheels come with the caps however the plastic centers have been painted gold . In my opinion you can leave them this way or replace with new plastic centers that are available .( DO NOT expect bright shinny wheels, they do have some flaking and need to be re plated for show quality . ) . I do not offer shipping on these wheels . I would rather these wheels be picked up at my Mount laurel New Jersey house . They weigh 26 lbs each . However I will ship them anywhere in the lower 48 United States .You will have to use the shipping company of your choice I will box them up or place them on a skid .and work with you on this end . please feel free to ask any question and check out the pictures . Bentley 6¾ litre V8 to end production – Diesels & Hybrid on the way
Fri, 17 Aug 2012Bentley’s outgoing boss has revealed Bentley are planning to drop their trademark 6¾ litre V8 and introduce hybrid and diesel options. Bentley’s famed 6¾ litre V8 engine – in production since 1959, although it didn’t grow to 6¾ litre until 1970 - is as much a USP for Bentley as the badge and the history. BMW tried to bring production of the old iron lump to an end in 1998 – replacing it with a characterless BMW 4.4 litre V8 – but it was back a year later when VW took over as the motivation for the Red Label Arnage – and it’s stayed ever since.
