This is a restored early Hemi intake manifold, part number 15555473 and a Carter WCFB Part number 2590S 4 barrel carburetor. The manifold was cleaned, media blasted and given 3 coats of aluminum exhaust paint.  The Hemi engines of 55-58 were mostly painted silver so this is a close match in high temp paint.  The carburetor, which is correct for late 56 and all 57 354 Hemis has not been rebuilt but all butterflies are free and it includes the original unbroken choke and housing. A vintage ACCURATE brand WCFB rebuild kit is now included as well as a factory choke tube, 2 carb to intake gaskets, return spring bracket and coil bracket. ( Now also includes a pair of new Mr. Gasket intake manifold gaskets.) The carb kit has been opened but appears to be complete with gaskets, paper feeler gauges and instructions. Check my other listings for more early Hemi parts.

Shipping price shown is to the USA. If you wish to have it sent elsewhere please request a shipping price before purchasing as this setup is very heavy.

Getting schooled at the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Experience

Thu, 04 Mar 2010

You don't need snow or ice to enjoy the thrills of sliding an all-wheel-drive car sideways, as evidenced by a day at the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Experience at Infineon Raceway. The class, operated by the instructors of the Jim Russell USA Racing Drivers School, involves time on coned-lined paddock courses and a large skid pad. But the real fun comes when you put what you've learned to good use on one of the country's most fun racetracks, the 2.52-mile 12-turn Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, Calif.

The regular Mercedes S-class too pedestrian for you? We understand. So does Mercedes, which is why they introduced the S600 today at the Detroit auto show.
