this is a 1955 1956 1957 chevy new power brake booster. it replaces the stock treadle vac unit. it bolts to the plate on the firewall, easy to install. bolts up like factory. you keep the stock big power brake pedal and linkage. it is a direct replacement. the booster itself is the best one on the market. beware of small ones and units made overseas. small ones look nice, but i would not depend on them to stop a 1955-1957 chevy.
