Here we have a NEW 1955 1956 1957 FORD THUNDERBIRD GENERATOR PULLEY. The pulley is specific for both 6 and 12 Volt 1955-57 t-bird Generators. I purchased it from a closed down Ford Dealership. The pulley is new, never installed on a vehicle and comes in the original Fomoco Box. The pulley contains the correct V- Belt groove location to attain the proper alignment with the T-bird Crankshaft pulley. If your generator pulley is locating the v-belt forward of the crank pulley, you probably have a passenger car generator and/or pulley. This was a common mistake made when replacing a defective (non-operating) generator: mechanics did not realize the generator pulleys were different for Thunderbirds and passenger cars.
