This is an NOS power window dual switch chrome housing in the Ford box. Ford part # B5S 14528-A.  This housing was used on all 1955 thru 1957 Thunderbirds with power windows; 1955 thru 1960 Ford passenger cars; 1956 Mercury and on the driver's side door of 1957 Lincolns with RH and LH vent windows.  This is an assembly line original and not a reproduction and has never been installed.  Perfect for replacing a missing, damaged or typically pitted switch housing.  See my eBay store for the complete 1961-1962 Thunderbird power window bezel with all of the switches, including the lock out switch. Few cars perform well in new insurance group crash test

The insurance industry has unveiled a new, tough frontal-crash test. The first batch of 11 luxury and near-luxury cars put to the test by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety didn't fare so well--only three were rated as good or acceptable. The test rams the front corner of a car into a fixed barrier at 40 mph.

Owners of 2005-2008 Maserati Quattroportes, 2008 GranTurismos, and the 2008 Alfa Romeo 8C should expect to hear from dealers soon as the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued a recall this past week. The recall is for tie-rod ends that have insufficient corrosion protection, which then leads to rust and weakening of the units. This unit could fail completely, causing the driver of the vehicle to lose control.
