Used caps, some paint chips, a few dents, only minor scratches, one had significant surface rust inside
Brand:Mercury Surface Finish:Chrome Placement on Vehicle:Left, Right, Front, Rear

Good used 1955, 1956 and 1957 Mercury, Mercury man, Poverty, aka Dog dish, hub caps, There are a few dents and skuff marks and some paint fading and chips so please check the pictures and ask questions before you bid.
These caps came with my 52, but are incorrect for 1952, 1953, and 1954. Many people use them anyway, as the red ones are very rare.
All of these caps had a little surface rust inside, but I could not find any pitting on the outside. Because of some pretty significant surface rust in the second one, I gave all of them a shot of rattle can aluminum just to clean them up a bit.

Thanks for looking, and ask questions before you bid.

The Monterey fender badge is not included and was just used to hold caps vertical for photos.

Vauxhall Ampera price cut by £3,500

Tue, 10 Sep 2013

The Vauxhall Ampera (pictured) drops in price by £3500 Although we still feel the range-extender is the right way for car makers to go to get the car buying public to accept EVs, the range-extender Vauxhall Ampera has not exactly been a runaway success. Despite Vauxhall offering potential Ampera buyers the option of trying it for 30 days and handing it back if they don’t like it, the Ampera has failed miserably to sell in any sort of volume. So, with new competition on the way from the range-extender BMW i3, Vauxhall are taking drastic action to try and tempt buyers in to the Ampera and are slashing prices by £3,500.

McLaren P1 tests in Arctic, MP4-12C at drag strip

Tue, 30 Apr 2013

McLaren has produced less than a handful of road cars in its 50-year existence, and they've all been hits. The company currently sells two cars for the street: the P1 and the MP4-12C, and they both require the “super” moniker. The McLaren P1 made its debut at the Paris motor show in September, and has been the subject of many analyses ever since.

Porsche Cayman R (2010) first official pictures

Wed, 17 Nov 2010

This is the new 2010 Porsche Cayman R, the lightest and most powerful version yet of Stuttgart’s mid-engined sports car, and the closest it’s ever been allowed to get to the hallowed 911. Over and above the Cayman S, the Cayman R has a mere 10bhp more, taking the total to 325bhp – the torque figure is unchanged at 272lb ft. Much more impressive (and important) are the weight reductions: the Cayman R is 55kg lighter than the Cayman S.
