This is a complete, original glove box lock assembly with the original single cut Ford round head key.  This glove box lock is uniquely Thunderbird and was used on all 1955 thru 1957 Thunderbirds.  The lock is in perfect working condition.  The chrome push button is in mint condition with no dents or scratches.  The original factory key is single sided which was used on all 1955 thru 1957 Thunderbirds. The piece which breaks most often on these locks is the tab on the lower LH side shown in the last picture.  If this tab is broken, your lock will malfunction and the arm drop behind the dash board. XFR Jag the fastest ever

They took with them the usual holiday toys, but they remembered to pack a nice new Jaguar XFR, with a few mods necessary to run at Bonneville (roll cage, fire extinguishers, etc). They had a little fiddle with the ECU to derestrict it (and yield 600bhp) but, it is claimed, made no further mods apart from adding a spoiler at the back to stop the XFR taking off on the Salt Flats’ wide open spaces. Johan Schwartz shattered the Guinness World Record for longest sustained drift in a BMW M5 Saturday, completing a total of 322.5 laps and covering 51.278 miles. Schwartz, a BMW Performance Driving instructor, beat the previous 6.94-mile drift record at the BMW Performance Center in Greenville, S.C. using just one set of Continental tires.

MOST Londoners believe congestion is going to worsen in their city over the next five years. However they are heavily divided on the best way of beating the jams, according to a YouGov survey for business group London First. As many as 40% of the 1,055 adults polled said congestion would increase a lot, while 38% believed it would increase a little.
