This is an original shifter knob or ball which was used on all 1955-1957 Thunderbirds which had the standard three speed transmission or the three speed with overdrive transmission. This shifter knob is an assembly line original which is made of bakolite and has gripping notches around the middle of the knob. The knob is in excellent condition but does have a few scratches in the black bakeolite. Perfect for a concours restoration or for replacing a missing, damaged or aftermarket plastic shift knob. Facelift Jaguar XK spotted
Fri, 09 Jan 2009We’ve seen a few shots of the facelift for the Jaguar XK recently, but this is the first un-disguised car we’ve come across. The obvious at first view are the new vents in the front, but it’s a bit more extensive than that. The whole car has been tweaked to give a more current style, and there are LED lights at the back and indicators in the door mirrors.
New Audi TT images appear ahead of Geneva debut
Fri, 28 Feb 2014Peter Murphy and Walter Gropius walk into Geneva's Palexpo, look at the new Audi TT and proclaim, "This ain't a return to Bauhaus, in fact, it looks like it might just be heavy refresh. Dag." Clearly, that's a fictional scenario. Gropius is as dead as Bela Lugosi and Murphy suggests that there won't be any further Bauhaus reunions.
