1955 1956 55 56 Chevrolet 265 Cylinder Head Gasket Kit Nos Corvette Chevy Engine on 2040-parts.com
Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, United States
New old stock from old Chevy dealership. Stored in attic of old dealership, so some pieces could be brittle - never opened until taking these photos. Parts books show this set is for: 1955-56 passenger and Corvette V8 engines - please bid based on your knowledge. Note, last photo show two sets. Both were sealed, I opened the old paper package for the photos and yes, there were 3 rocker valve cover gaskets in it. High bidder gets their choice of either the opened set or the newer sealed one. No reserve and very low starting bid - what you see is included and no warranty for gaskets this old. I will combine shipments to save postage. I will also ship outside the US, but ship cost will be higher (but at my cost to ship - keep in mind, they are over 24" long, so outside the US shipping is a little high). Thank you. NOTE: High bidder needs to let me know which set they want - the older black and gold package that I opened or the plastic blue/black unopened set. Thanks. |

Tesla planning self-driving car
Wed, 18 Sep 2013Tesla are planning a self-driving car Now that car makers have been fitting radar and sensors to their cars for some time, which allow stuff like adaptive cruise – which automatically slows behind traffic and can even bring the car to s stop on its own – the race is on to make cars even more autonomous. We’ve reported recently on the Mercedes Intelligent Drive S-Class that negotiated its way – more or less – on a 60 mile route in Germany, and on Volvo’s self-parking system which will take your car in to a multi storey car park by itself, park, and meet you when you return. Google has also been playing with self-driving cars and has even gained permission to run its autonomous cars in California, and now Tesla are joining the fray with plans for an autonomous car in the next three years.
