Here is an excellent reproduction heater delete plate for your 55 or 56 Chevy. This installs on the firewall. The mold was made from a very rare original factory part, all dimensions are the same. This piece was cast in a high heat tolerant plastic that works well for this type of application. Paint like any typical engine bay piece. Lacquer thinner will not harm this material. You should caulk the backside to seal it before installing. OK thanks! FOR DISCLOSURE; REPRODUCTIONS MAY HAVE MINOR BLEMISHES THAT WERE ON THE ORIGINAL VINTAGE PARTS USED TO MAKE THE MOLD. PHOTOS ARE OF A TYPICAL CASTING.
