1955 1956 Chevrolet Clutch And Brake Pedal Support Assembly on 2040-parts.com
Lilburn, Georgia, United States
Here's an original 1955 1956 Clutch and Brake Pedal support. The clutch rod arm is notorious for slipping on the clutch pedal shaft as you may already know. Someone decided to weld this clutch rod arm to the end of the clutch pedal shaft so it would not slip on the shaft. It works, but they did an ugly job, so if it were me, I'd ground off the old welds, remove the ugly bolt, and replace with a good bolt and do a nicer looking weld job on it. The assembly has the proper length tube for the clutch pedal shaft, and also has the proper spacer that goes between the clutch rod arm and the pedal support. You have to have those for a good working clutch pedal. It needs the one "C" shaped clutch spring hanger for where it hooks to the pedal support. Otherwise it would look good with a little blasting and painting. We also carry new parts, so you could call the number below to add some new parts to your order to save on shipping if you wish. Mazda previews the next 2 with the Hazumi concept
Mon, 03 Mar 2014Mazda's Hazumi concept looks like a ferocious little rodent, an aggressive lil' gumball of a mini car that's set to replace the Mazda2. Imagine the drooping snout of the Mazda3 (not a "Droopsnoot," mind you) on a car far shorter than that. Imagine the same character lines, the same upward kink over the rear wheel, the same haunches as the 3 and the 6.
Jaguar Land Rover sales up 32% in January 2013
Wed, 13 Feb 2013Jaguar Land Rover sales continue to power ahead, with sales up 32 per cent in January 2013 – 31 per cent up for Land Rover and 40 per cent for Jaguar. We’ve got used to ever increasing sales from both Jaguar and Land Rover in recent years, and 2013 has started for JLR in the same manner as 2012 – with sales up by 32 per cent. JLR are reporting sales up in every major market, with China topping the list with an increase of 74 per cent, but even the UK (up 33 per cent) and USA (up 24 per cent) performed well and, despite sales falling across Europe for most car makers, Jaguar Land Rover managed to increase their sale by 10 per cent on the Continent.
Accident prevention features to affect vehicle safety ratings?
Mon, 08 Apr 2013To score high on the government's five-star safety program, car companies may soon need to do more than just protect passengers during a crash. They might need to keep their customers out of accidents, too. That would be a boon to suppliers selling such equipment as radar and video cameras that watch the road ahead.
