New Ford Edge SUV revealed – and it’s heading for the UK

Wed, 25 Jun 2014

The new Ford Edge (above) will arrive in the UK in 2015 The new Ford Edge – new to the UK, but already in Ford’s model range in the US – has been revealed as Ford’s big hope to cash in on the still growing obsession with SUVs of all shapes and sizes in the UK. A big brother to the new Fiesta-based EcoSport and the longstanding Ford Kuga, the new Ford Edge rides on underpinnings that started out as the new Mondeo (well, new to the UK when it finally arrives in the Autumn) and owes its looks, more or less, to the Ford Edge Concept we saw at the LA Auto Show last year. Just like the Edge Concept, the new Ford edge comes with a big statement grill and big alloys, LED lights all round and a choice of three trim levels - Trend, Sport and Titanium – with more than a fighting chance that Ford will add a Vignale version too.

Volkswagen Touran

Mon, 12 Apr 2010

Volkswagen unveiled the new Touran at the Leipzig Motor Show last week. Though not an entirely new design, the revisions to the Touran were made to bring the car in line with other offerings in the Volkswagen stable - namely the Polo, Golf and the recently revealed Touareg SUV. At the front, a new grille with horizontal lines sits atop a new front bumper, while revised taillights with LED bulbs join a new tailgate and bumper at the rear.

Suzuki Swift gets a tweak for 2013

Fri, 12 Jul 2013

Suzuki Swift (pictured) gets a tweak for 2013 Suzuki has had a couple of bites at PR for the updated Swift already this week, with news that the Swift can now be had with a 4WD option and that the Swift Sport can be ordered with five doors. So even though it seems a bit back to front to trumpet two new versions of the Swift before revealing the overall tweaks to the range, it’s probably got Suzuki three times the coverage they’d have got if they’d just announced the 2013 tweaks included the 5-door Sport and 4WD option. Who can blame them?

1955 and 1956 Chevrolet Passenger car "Working" Clock !
- -Excellent - -

Clock Application - This auction is for a 12 volt "Working" clock that is "Correct" the 1955 and 1956 Chevrolet passenger cars but because of the manufacturer (New Haven), is not correct for the 1958, 1959, 1960, 1961, and 1962 Corvettes, however it will fit and work in them as well. As always, be sure to look the pictures over carefully to be sure this clock fits your application.

- Clock Face - Clean black textured background.
- Lens - The lens is in excellent condition with crisp white numbers embossed on the inside.
- Adjustment Knob - The original adjustment knob is in great condition. At the top is a manual fast and slow adjustment for accuracy in timekeeping.
- Hands - Original white "Hour and Minute" hands with shinny chrome centers. Great contrast!
- Chrome Front Ring - The chrome ring is in excellent condition with only 2 blemishes ... one at the "5" and the other below the knob, un-noticeable. I'd rate it a 9 on a scale of 10.

Overall Description - This clock shows itself in "Excellent" condition! The internal 12 volt mechanism is of the original "New Haven" movement. It has recently been cleaned and properly lubricated using clock oil, and should give a nice long life of service.
