These are handmade 2 door hardtop flipper springs using the original springs as patterns.  They are not the same as those used by various GM models '55-'57

They are made from .055" stainless spring steel for long life and corrosion resistance.

The double-looped spring goes at the front of the flipper, and the single looped spring is 2 different styles that belong in center right/rear left and center left/rear right.

I've been mailing them out in 6X9 envelopes to try to save on cost, but some have been lost or seriously delayed, and I think it's because of the irregularity of the envelope with the springs in them.  For this reason I'm sending them out in small flate-rate USPS boxes, which provide a more durable package and a tracking number for future mailings and the shipping charge reflects that change.

No prizes for guessing this car's format: it wraps the supercharged 556bhp 6.2-litre V8 with the sharpest set of clothes you'll see this side of Edward Scissorhands. That's a terrible joke.

BMW M5 celebrates 30th birthday, promises a surprise

Mon, 14 Apr 2014

The BMW M5 has been with us for 30 years. That's right: The E28 premiered in the fall of 1984 as a 1985 model after its debut at the Amsterdam Motor Show. Even though its performance figures have aged somewhat (in the best way possible), it's important to remember that it was the fastest production sedan in the world when it premiered.
