Up for auction is a GM original interior left pillar garnish for 1955, 1956, or 1957 Chevrolet 2 door sedan or 4 door sedan passenger car. The garnish molding is in very good condition, free of dents, dings, with very light rust on the back side as shown in picture #4. This one has been off since 1971, so it does not have the issues so many others have. GREAT piece to restore for your 2 door or 4 door sedan. When VW revealed the Eos facelift last month at Frankfurt there was little more on offer than a bit of a nose job to bring the Eos up to date with Volkswagen’s family nose. True, VW has played a bit at the back end and there’s talk of more ‘Premium’ interiors on the 2011 Eos, but it all adds up to not very much.
2010 LA Design Challenge entrants revealed

The futuristic proposals, which called for designers to envision a 1000lbs (454kg) 2+2 vehicle that delivers comfort, safety and satisfactory driving performance without sacrificing the emotional connection today's consumers demand from their vehicles, come from the west coast design studios of seven automakers – General Motors, Honda, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Toyota and Volvo. For the first time since the Challenge's inception, studios outside California have also been allowed to enter the competition.
